our history
Founded in 2015 by innovation enthusiasts and agricultural visionaries, Truffes Québec contributes to the harmonious and sustainable development of Quebec's truffle-growing territory. To learn more about the discovery of truffles in the province, a subject that began to fascinate co-founder Jérôme in 2009, visit our section The History of Truffles in Quebec .
We assist producers in establishing truffle orchards in Quebec, from soil analysis to selecting truffle plants, planting, and maintenance. To this end, we offer several consulting services tailored to the needs of our clients, whether they are large producers or beginners.
At Truffes Québec, we firmly believe that a new industry can emerge from the soil we tread—a living, regenerative industry, rooted in the terroir, and focused on the future. We cultivate much more than trees. We cultivate a sustainable truffle ecosystem, based on quality, research, and respect for all living things.

our mission
Truffes Québec's mission is to actively participate in the revaluation of soils by acting as a key player:
- in the supply of premium truffle trees throughout North America,
- by contributing to the development of local know-how and knowledge that enhances each expression of the truffle mushroom — from the forest to the fresh product, then processed,
- by facilitating truffle cultivation, as well as the distribution of fresh truffles produced in Quebec.
We believe it's possible—and necessary—to grow a new economy rooted in biodiversity, human partnerships, and agri-food innovation. And that the truffles that lie dormant beneath our native forests deserve to be celebrated with the same respect as Europe's finest wines.

our vision
Our vision is ambitious!
To become the leader in sustainable and equitable truffle farming in North America, recognized worldwide for:
- the quality of our truffle trees,
- our concrete support to producers,
- the marketing of our native truffles (including the majestic Appalachian truffle),
- and the development of refined derivative products, proudly carried by our gourmet division, Les Truffettes .
We don't just grow trees. We cultivate a vision. We cultivate a sector. And above all, we cultivate the pride of transforming our Quebec forests into sustainable wealth, for today and tomorrow.

our values
Quality: We are continually seeking to improve our methods to enable producers to cultivate high-quality truffles with an international reputation.
Innovation: We are continually working to develop and integrate new techniques and approaches to best meet the needs of our producers.
Territory Protection: We want to develop Quebecers' interest in our local truffles, in order to offer a profitable and ecological alternative for Quebec's forests and the province's economy.
Family and future generations: We actively participate in solidarity and collaboration between producers to develop a sustainable and prosperous industry for future generations.
