What seemed like pure fiction in the film Truffe (2008) is becoming a reality in Quebec! Thanks to Jérôme Quirion, a passionate mycologist, the Appalachian truffle is taking root in our soil. With his company Arborinnov , which now leases its greenhouse and the land where the truffle orchard is located to Truffes Québec, he cultivates local and European truffles, promising a delicious (and lucrative) future for truffle farming in Quebec.
