On June 15, 2020, the Filière mycologique de la Mauricie and Truffes Québec announced a unique partnership to develop truffle farming in the region. Together, they support agricultural and forestry producers in establishing truffle fields and are helping to boost agritourism around forest mushrooms.
This project brings together the expertise of Truffes Québec—a pioneer in the cultivation of Appalachian truffles—and the structuring role of the Filière mycologique, which drives the regional network around non-timber forest products. A lasting alliance to foster a 100% Quebec gastronomic signature.
