Red pine, sometimes called resinous pine or Norway pine, gets its name from its bark, which ranges from reddish to pink. It grows naturally in northeastern North America . It is a hardy tree that prefers to grow in full sun, most often in sandy and poor soil. It grows in pure stands or in mixtures with other species such as white pine , jack pine and poplars . It needs plenty of space to develop.

Appearance : Ovoid shape, straight, bare trunk, reddish, scaly, cracked bark. Needles in bundles of two, 10 to 16 cm long, brittle.
Ground : Clayey, Loamy, Sandy. Low humidity.
Rooting : Rather deep and spread out
Diseases and insects : Few insect problems, susceptibility to scleroderris canker (fungus)

Your trees are guaranteed against loss/mortality for a period of 30 days following possession according to the following terms:
Trees must be planted within 48 hours of taking possession. They must be equipped with a protective tube that you can obtain from us or any retailer near you. It is understood that losses/mortalities resulting indirectly from poor tree maintenance, use not in accordance with the instructions in the planting guide or any faults or damages made by the customer, bad weather or damage caused by animals or other pests, are not covered.
When applicable, the warranty includes the replacement of affected trees, subject to nursery availability and does not include delivery costs. In any case, this purchase is non-refundable . The customer must keep the defective tree and have photos attesting to the problem. Finally, although each tree has been carefully inoculated, we cannot guarantee truffle production.
